Guest Information

  • Dress Code
    • We ask that you approach your wardrobe deliberately and with a sense of occasion. We understand the ever-changing fashion space, and you are welcome if you dress with personality, purpose, and originality but please note we favor a conservative dress code, and if in doubt, it is suggested to avoid. The following explicit guidelines are in place:

      Clubhouse
      • No hats or caps for gentleman outside of the locker room
      • No swimwear
      • No hoodies over the head
      • Shoes must be worn at all times
      • No ripped jeans

      Golf Course
      • No denim, workout attire, or cut-offs
      • Shirts, shorts, or pants must be consistent with what is currently available from golf apparel companies or is seen on semi and professional tours
      • Hats must be worn forward
      • Shirts must be tucked in

      Pool
      • Commercially available, age-appropriate swimwear is required in the pool and on the pool deck
      • No street clothes may be worn in the pool

      Tennis
      • Players must wear non-marking shoes on the courts at all times
      • All tennis players are required to wear shirts when playing
      • Playing is not permitted in swimsuits or denim cut-offs

      Dining

      Recommended attire by venue:

      • Club Room & Fireplace Room: Clothing consistent with an upscale steak or seafood restaurant
      • Lounge: Clothing consistent with a casual/family/sports restaurant
      • Patio: Clothing considered upscale or country club casual
      • 1904 Club: Golf course attire
  • Golf Course
    • To help ensure an enjoyable visit for all our guests, we’d like to advise you of certain rules and customs of the Club:

      Cell Phones
      • We ask that you turn them on vibrate while on the course
      • Music on the golf course is discouraged, and when used must not be audible to others on the course or driving range

      Pace of Play

      Golf rounds are expected to be completed in less than 4 hours, whether walking or riding. Ready golf is encouraged to maintain pace of play. Groups falling behind shall allow those behind to play through.

      Checking In
      • All players must check in with the Golf Shop prior to play
      • The Golf Shop will communicate to the Starter
      • No one may commence play from any place or tee other than #1 tee without permission from the Starter. The Starter shall have discretion to combine groups during periods of heavy play

      Care for the Course
      • Replace divots & repair pitch marks
      • Rake bunkers and place rakes outside of the bunkers when finished
      • Avoid trampling the fescue or otherwise damaging the course
      • Follow all posted directions and any directives from the professional staff or grounds crew staff
      • Do not use equipment unapproved by the USGA
      • Do not use playing greens, tees, and fairways for practice

      Attire
      • No denim, workout attire, or cut-offs
      • Shirts, shorts, or pants must be consistent with what is currently available from golf apparel companies or is seen on semi and professional tours
      • Hats worn forward and shirts tucked in

      Motorized Carts
      • Follow designated paths and avoid driving on soft areas
      • Park carts at least thirty (30) feet away from greens and tee boxes
      • Respect ropes, stakes, and signs on the course
      • Do not drive carts on grass walking paths or in tall grass
      • Only persons holding a valid driver’s license may operate motorized golf carts
  • Parking
    • The valet circle in front of the Club is for valet, loading, and unloading purposes only. Do not prevent other vehicles from being able to drive past you while unloading. At no time may a Member or their guest's vehicle be driven on shared-use sidewalks beside or behind the Clubhouse. Complimentary Valet parking is offered daily from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Tuesday - Saturday evenings year round while open for dining, and 11:00 am – 2:00 pm Tuesday - Friday Memorial Day to Labor Day. Tipping is not required but appreciated.

  • Tipping
    • Tipping of employees is not expected; however, you may tip for exceptional service. For the convenience of our Members, a service charge of 18% (20% for Banquet events) is included on all food and beverage purchases, with 3% allocated to the Club, and the remaining paid directly to Staff.
